Travelling

It's not news that travel is good for physical fitness (gastruto in Tuscany - not in the account), but even more pleasant, according to studies of psychologists, the study of new places is very beneficial for mental and emotional health. In other words, travel makes us happier.

Placing in New York, a family vacation in Morocco or a bold decision to throw (and sell) everything for months to live on wheels - going on a long way, we leave the habitual comfort zone. In addition, even a very detailed plan does not eliminate the surprises that happen all along and near. Immersing into another culture and way of life, we learn to solve problems in an unfamiliar situation, which makes us more flexible, patient and emotionally strong, thereby increasing self-esteem.

It's easier to get new friends on a journey than to work on a routine journey - a home. A neighbor on an armchair on your way to London can become your husband, a travel companion on a sightseeing tour to McCauw-Picchu, a future employer, and a sweet girl with whom you have ordered lonely cocktails at a Chicago bar - a girlfriend for life. All these are real stories that can happen to you.

Sincere friendliness does not depend on the level of well-being and easily causes mutual feeling - seeing wide smiles on the faces of residents of the Laotian or Philippine villages, it is impossible not to smile in return. It's great if this habit becomes a true companion - the world deserves the spread of the positive epidemic.

Leaving the habitual environment and close people for a long time or not, we learn to appreciate them more. Nobody will listen to stories about adventures in distant countries with such attention as friends and relatives prepared for love from us to tolerate enthusiastic monologues about the wonders of the planet. Well, then, an amazing moment of meeting after separation always gives a special emotion.

Regardless of what we do on trips, it fills life with experience and knowledge, whether it is master classes in Taiwanese cuisine, Spanish classes in Colombia, diving practices in the Maldives or yoga in Goa. The brains work more actively, adrenaline boils in the blood, every day makes us happier - according to psychologists, it is a natural process when we learn what we find pleasing.
